The training session was divided into AM and PM segments and attended by MLTs, SOs, MOs, on-call staff from HKL and other departments, and officers. It began with a CME session covering urinalysis, the mechanism and medical advantages of urine analysis, Erba Laura XL, and Erba Laura, with a focus on sample exclusion criteria. The hands-on segment introduced the principles, features, and user interfaces of both analyzers. For the Erba Laura, participants practiced sample testing, quality control, and daily/weekly maintenance. For the Erba Laura XL, they explored the internal and external components, performed manual and QC sample orders, conducted microscopy sample reviews, and handled maintenance, including reagent changes and strip loading.
